The ‘British Warm’ was first created around 1914 as a heavy Melton officer’s coat to keep our chaps warm during the First World War. Crafted from heavy Melton wool, the British Warm is a double-breasted overcoat made famous by our cigar-wielding great, Sir Winston Churchill, wearing the style for the majority of his life after he too would have been issued one whilst serving King and Country.
